  • Enjoy family favorites and classics for free at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront every Monday and Friday night from June through July.
  • Bengies Drive-In Theatre in Middle River offers double-feature screenings of the latest releases all summer through fall.
  • Merriweather Movie Nights at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia are back for the summer with free showings of new releases and family favorites until August.
  • The Bel Air Downtown Alliance hosts their local-favorite Summer Movie Nights at Shamrock Park in Bel Air on select dates throughout the summer.
  • Enjoy free family movie nights throughout the summer at Clarksville Commons in Clarksville.
  • The Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Park’s Rhythm & Reels returns for the summer on Friday nights at various parks throughout Baltimore.
  • American Visionary Art Museum’ in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore hosts their Flicks on the Hill movie nights every Thursday night in July.
  • Join in on the free family fun at the Moana Movie Night at Hunt’s Church in Towson on June 23.

 

Capital Region

  • Enjoy summer movie nights from June through August at the Wine Bin in Ellicott City.
  • Rockville offers Movies in the Parks every Wednesday in August.
  • From June through September, National Harbor offers two free movie nights each week. Every Thursday is date night, and every Sunday is a family movie night.
  • Support the Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas’ annual back-to-school drive and join their Operation Backpack® Outdoor Movie Night on Friday, July 7 at the Kenhill Community Center in Bowie.

 

Western Region

  • Watch outdoor showings of family favorites at the City Park Band Shell in Hagerstown from June to July.
  • Don’t miss out on watching the original Blair Witch Project in the same location it is based on at The Blair Witch Projected… In Burtkittsville on August 12.
  • The Carroll County Arts Council offers free family movie nights at Carroll Community College in Westminster every Tuesday night throughout the summer until August.

 

Southern Region

  • North Beach‘s Movies on the Beach offers free showings of family favorites throughout the summer until September.

 

Eastern Shore Region

  • The Carousel Oceanfront Hotel’s Movies on the Beach in Ocean City hosts showings of family classics every Wednesday night until August.

Washington, DC

  • Van Ness Main Street’s Movie Night Wednesdays in the Park offers free movies every Wednesday this summer at UDC Park through July.
  • Ride down to The Drive-In at Union Market District for free showings every first and third Friday in June through July.
  • The Riverfront (Re)Connect Summer Series returns with free Movies on the Pitch at Capitol Riverfront‘s Audi Field on Thursdays until September.
  • The Downtown DC Summer Flicks– CAN I KICK IT? movie series is back at Franklin Park every Thursday through July 13.
  • Enjoy music and live performances followed by Summer Movies on the Lawn hosted by the Library of Congress in DC every Thursday evening starting July 6 until August 10.

 

Northern VA

  • Fairfax’s Mosaic District hosts its Films in the Park at Strawberry Park every Thursday starting June 22 through August 17.
  • Enjoy Fairfax County Park Authority’s Summer Entertainment Series with exciting pre-movie shows and family movies at Starlight Drive-in Cinema every Saturday in August at Trinity Centre in Centerville.
  • Arlington’s Westpost at National Landing hosts their free summer movie series every Wednesday in June through July.
