Changing a Flat Tire

  1. Find a safe space to pull off the road

  2. Grab your jack, spare tire and tools
  3. Lift up your car, remove the lug nuts and wheels
  4. remove the flat tire and put on the spare
  5. lower your car

Jump Starting Your Car

Dead battery? You can jumpstart your car with jumper cables:

  • Take out jumper cables and place vehicle in park.
  • Attach one red clip to the positive terminal of your battery, then the other  red clip to the other car.
  • Attach one black clip to the negative terminal of your battery, then attach the other black clip to an unpainted metal part of your car.
  • Start the working car and let it run for 15 minutes and then try starting your car.

Checking Tire Pressure

A few things to consider when it comes to tire pressure:

  • Your recommended tire pressure for your vehicle should be listed on a sticker in your car or in the manual.
  • You can use a tire gauge at any time to check the tire pressure.
  • You should not drive much with low tire pressure
  • In order to fill your tires, you can use a local air dispenser.
