Spotlight On Kenneth Rice Jr.

This month, we highlight Kenneth Rice Jr. of the Kenneth Rice Jr. Agency. Ken is carrying on a family legacy of service in the insurance industry.

Ken’s journey with Maryland Auto began when he was in high school over twenty years ago when he helped with filing and organizing in his father’s office.

Being exposed early on to the positive impact his father had on the community helped Kenneth understand the value of insurance and financial responsibility. That inspiration eventually led him to pursue a career in the field and open his own agency.

“Being blessed to see my father help people in the community motivated me,” Ken said. He explains that is helped him understand the importance of insurance and being financially responsible at a young age. “I wanted to continue the legacy of service that my family is building,” he said.

His clients value Maryland Auto’s flexible payment plans. “Maryland Auto will always provide insurance, provided the customer can afford to drive. The insurance industry is currently undergoing significant changes, and Maryland Auto strives to maintain fairness in an unfair world.”

Kenneth and his family participate in their community through church involvement and local business and financial education events. “As an insurance agent, I strive to safeguard our community’s financial future,” he said.

Ken says that it has been a true blessing to grow up in a family business. “Perhaps my son, Kenneth III, will also choose to be an insurance agent, continuing our family legacy of insurance service to the community. Summer is almost here and I look forward to him assisting me with various organizational tasks. But regardless of his future career, he is already helping the community and will continue.”
