Maryland Auto Insurance seeks a motivated and organized individual to join our Property Damage Claims team. Qualified candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy, customer service oriented environment. This position is located at Maryland Auto’s Baltimore office, in the McHenry Row neighborhood.
Duties to include:
- Determining applicability of coverage
- Recommending and authorizing the activities necessary to affect the disposition of claims
- Opening, closing, and adjusting various reserves
- Conducting investigations, negotiating, settling, and closing claims
- Documenting activities in accordance with established procedures
Additional Information:
This position will report to a Claims Supervisor and will not supervise other employees. This is a flextime position scheduled for 40 hours each week. Duties of the position may require work during evenings, weekends or holidays. Additional hours worked, with prior supervisory approval, will be compensated as compensatory time.

Requirements:
Qualified applicants will possess a BS/BA or four years of experience handling claims claims. Bilingual skills, fluency in both English and Spanish, a plus.
