Maryland Auto Insurance is seeking a dynamic Human Resources professional to join our Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and handle confidential information with great sensitivity is a must. Excellent computer skills (MS Word/Excel, Payroll/HRIS) required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment/On-boarding processing
  • Attendance tracking/leave usage in support of payroll administration
  • Benefit administration
  • Employee relations and recognition
  • Regulatory compliance (FMLA, FLSA, ADAA, EEO, OSHA, Worker Comp., Unemployment)
  • Special event planning – of all sorts!

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Additional Information:

This position will report to a Human Resources Manager and will not supervise other employees. This is a flextime position scheduled for 40 hours each week. Duties of this position may require work during evenings, weekend, or holidays. Additional hours worked, with supervisory approval, will be compensated as compensatory time.
